8-Week Yoga Therapy for Arthritis (April–May intake)

I’m excited to offer a small, supportive Yoga Therapy course for people living with osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, and other joint conditions.

Together in a welcoming group of 6–10, we’ll explore gentle, joint-safe movement, simple strengthening, breathwork, and practical tools to help reduce pain, improve mobility, and build confidence in your body.
Classes are suitable for all levels and adaptable for flare-ups, stiffness, or fatigue.
They will be held (most likely) on a Tuesday 5.15pm. I will start 1:1 assessments in March and the 8 week program will start the week after Easter.

The course includes a one-on-one intake session, personalised guidance throughout, home practice support, and a new cork yoga mat for you to keep.

Yin Yoga & live Music on the 17th of May,  Sunday 7:00 pm 
90 min of deep rest, soft sounds and inner stillness

Take time for yourself and sink into a soothing Yin Yoga practice supported by beautiful live music by Joseph Jenkins on Piano, flute and guitar. This slow, calming session is designed to melt tension, soften the body, and quiet the mind.
What to bring:
  • Your own yoga mat
  • A blanket
  • A cushion or pillow
  • Comfy, warm clothing

Breathe & Draw
''Where creativity meets inner peace''

Join our (totally beginner-friendly) Breathe and Draw workshop. An art class focusing on drawing itself rather than the outcome of your work. This month's class is all about turning inner chaos into calm, visual order through mindful drawing. Starting with simple, spontaneous lines and adding as we go.

Why people do it:
  • Reduces stress and anxiety
  • Helps process emotions
  • Supports mindfulness

We start each class with some interactive drawing exercises before we start our final piece. 
$25 fee, includes all supplies.
​We meet at Hey Coasties at Waikanae Beach by the Banana trees. We will be in the outdoor area if the weather is fine, please bring a jacket just in case.

Join us for the 7th year of Yoga in the Park at Waikanae Park on Park Ave!
Our classes focus on balance and stability, incorporating breathing exercises, longer holds, and plenty of options to modify poses based on your fitness level. We’ve had kids join us in past years, and if you consider yourself "older," you’re more than welcome, too. This is your practice, so if you’d rather spend the hour in Child’s Pose, soaking in the sounds of the birds, that’s perfectly fine!
What to bring: A mat or towel, a hat, and some water. I’ll take care of the rest.

Pricing:
  • $15 for a single class
  • $150 for an Outdoor Pass (covers the whole season: Nov to March, 21 classes + additional beach yoga sessions starting in 2026)
